It would be wonderful to think that the future is unknown and a sort of surprising

Kind Words from Christina & Philipp

“We got in touch with Sandra through our wedding planner and we decided on her, because we loved her portfolio already so much. After the call via zoom it was clear that we picked her for our wedding day! Every little detail is just made with so much passion and you definitely fall in love with Sandra & her work from the first moment on! She's an artist and you can feel that she really loves what she's doing! She captured the most precious emotions, moments and even the little reactions! She was just so present on our wedding day! We could still write a hundred more lines about her work and how much she enriched our day, and we've got memories for a lifetime! Take her as your wedding photographer, she will help you to create the perfect memories with you and you won't regret it. Thank you so much Sandra, we wouldn't have wanted to do it with any other photographer than you! Love C&P”

It couldn’t be A more perfect match

Some days offers it all rain, storm, wind, sun and golden hour, and that drama really makes the fun & loving images. Sweetest Christina & Philipp got married at the most beautiful venue in the Jämtland wilderness in Sweden, and in all kinds of weather I could always hear their happy laughter. When I asked them to describe their wedding in 3 words it was “stormy, laugh, love”.

Christina & Philipp live in Austria, but chose to get married in Sweden. They have no Swedish roots here, but years before the wedding, on a holiday in Sweden, they rented a cabin at Vildmarkslounge in Hammerdal outside Östersund. They fell in love with the place, as it's pure wilderness & nature at its best. When they later planned for their wedding, they felt that Vildmarkslounge had everything they wanted for their intimate outdoor wedding; a venue with room for a smaller outdoor ceremony, reception, dinner and party.

So they wrote an email to Wolfgang & Mirjam who runs Vildmarkslounge, just asking them if they could host the wedding on their property. “They were totally on board from the start, and they were the best hosts ever, fixing every little or big problem that came along the way on our special day! They are pure gold and we couldn't have imagined the day without them!”.

To plan their wedding from Austria, they enlisted the help of a Swedish wedding coordinator, Karolina Wahlman, who helped them with the styling, and finding professional suppliers for a nature-inspired wedding. It was important for Christina & Philipp to have a natural look, from the dress, the styling to the bridal bouquet and floral decorations that were really subtle and blended in well with nature. Their motto was "less is more". For the flowers they found Fjällflorist & Trädgård and Fjällevent Vemdalen helped decorate on site. You can see the full supplier list at the end.

Christina herself describes the day;

“One of the best moments of the day were the "first look" before the ceremony with our photographer Sandra. First look means we saw each other for the first time after getting ready. Not only did we get such beautiful, emotional images afterwards, but we also had alone time together and the opportunity to really capture that special & emotional moment.

During the ceremony I surprised Philipp by playing the guitar and singing a song I wrote myself. We also included our family in the ceremony, our mothers granted us both a few wishes along the way. At the end, the guests surprised us with a dance. So we all danced for a few minutes after becoming husband and wife, and it was just such a cool and wonderful end to our ceremony and a happy start to our married life.

Dinner was outstanding!! It was set in a large Tentipikåta from JK Event. As table decorations, we had some small flower bouquets, candles and place cards that were placed in some wooden stands that I and my father-in-law had made by hand. We had an excellent chef on site from Vemdalen Catering. We loved that everyone sat together the whole time. We had two large tables with 32 guests sitting on reindeer traps, and it was such a nice and cozy atmosphere.

And finally, after the drama of storm and rain, a completely magical golden hour came. Sandra had full control, and dotted in at exactly the right time. Once again, what beautiful images were created, and even though the weather was really windy and bit cold it was the most wonderful feeling to spend some time just the two of us. We really enjoyed these little time-outs with Sandra. The day went by so fast and we were happy about the moments where we got to slow down, see each other, and enjoy being husband & wife!”

Christina & Philipp and I was really a perfect match with their adventures outdoor wedding in the wilderness. I loved every moment spending with them and all the laughs together. They also had a Superfeel couples shoot in Stockholm before the wedding and they used the images on social media, and to invite the guests, and Christina booked a Secret Bride Boudoir for herself to give Philipp. A couples shoot before the wedding is such good way to get to know each other and they can learn to relax infront of the camera. It’s so fun to have that Secret of boudoir to giggle with Christina about. It all turned out so beautiful. They are still so so close to my heart.
