“I’ll never marry you,

just so you know.”

Words from my love, on our first date, “I just don’t believe in that.” It was alright with me. I had never really thought I would get married.

After a few years of being together though, I got sick. It was a tough period. There were times I didn’t know if i would survive. But I did. We grew closer and our love became stronger because of it.

One evening at a restaurant in Egypt, the waiters began to circle like flies around our table. I tried to wave them away. My partner blinked and nodded his head. I wondered if he had something in his eye. A waiter put champagne and two glasses on our table. I was sure it was the wrong table.

My love got up and walked around the table and got down on his knee. Has he lost something, I thought, and started to look around on the floor. Then he took out a ring, and asked me to marry him. I didn’t get it at first. The whole restaurant held its breath. I finally cried a YES. Applause, champagne and happy shoutings.

I was surprised by the joy I felt in making the commitment when you get married. My partner and I both had to go beyond ourselves to make it. There’s something especially beautiful about that.

I belive in love. Being able to document yours lights me up.

I'm a Swedish destination wedding & boudoir photographer, and I help wedding couples & women to feel confident and amazing in front of the camera and get world-class photos. I have over 100 weddings behind me in Sweden, Europe & beyond, from small intimate to grandiose weekend weddings. I specialise in Iceland, France, Bali and Sweden, but I go everywhere there is a love story to tell.

For me, the camera is a way to visualize and remember beautiful moments in life. You know you have moments and celebrations you never want to forget as long as you live. Moments and celebrations that will be spoken for many generations to come. We are all here to tell those stories. To share. Sometimes it feels that they don’t matter, but they do. The heartfelt and the heartbreaking. We only forget the power of our stories. How they impact us, and the world around us, and genrations to come. I want you to remember, your LOVE BEYOND TIME.

Bröllopsfotograf Sandra Jensen Brons SM i fotografi 2022

This image underneath is one of my favourite photos in the wedding documentary category that I submitted to the competition, when little Leo stepped on Malin's wedding dress, and it came in 3rd place. I received a bronze medal. I felt so proud. One of the judges recounted the story of the picture so well without even being at the wedding;

“This is a really strong and funny image. Love the two arms trying to save the situation and the child has an absolut amazing expression. Very well done, and bravo to the photographer for seeing and capture it so quickly” ~ Scott Johnson, Print Judge SM Fotografi 2022

This image also made it to the to the print final in 2022 and came on 5th place. This was a really warm and beautiful day in Stockholm and we took a much needed break in the shade to drink some water. It's these little moments I love to capture. It adds so much more spice to the story of the wedding day.

I also made it to the print final in Wedding Documentary in 2021. I came 4th place and got an honourable mention for the image above. It was beyond joy to work with Embla & David and their family and friends with their spontaneous happiness in church when they finally said YES after Covid-19 had postponed their wedding. So proud of my 4th place.

This beautiful image got honourable mention i the Swedish Photography Championship print final 2020 in the category Wedding Photography. Very proud of myself to get to the print final a second time. This time with stunning bride Malin Gramer Falk and her fun and beautiful bridesmaids as it was 36 degrees in Toledo, Spain and we didn’t have much time to create this image.

Bröllopsfotograf Stockholm Bergianska Trädgården — Wedding Photographer in Bergianska Trädgården Stockholm, with Sara & Sidde, who made it to the print final in 2019 the first time I competed. So fun!

In 2019 it was just pure happiness that I made it to the print final. In 2020 I was a little bit more proud that I made it to the print final two times in a row. So 2021, the third time in a row and I came in 4th place. It felt very professional how I work, and the constant quality I deliver. So I was beyond happy when I came 3rd and took a bronze medal in 2022, and also my second image came in 5th place. It’s a constant growth.

Further down are some more diplomas with my lovely couples in Svenska Mästerskapen i fotografi. What i love about the category Wedding Photography Wedding Documentary is that i had to be taken on the actual wedding day. It’s a special skill to create live on the spot.

It's also important to me that my images and my passion hold that kind of quality, and I can't wait to create the same magic with you. Maybe we get published or get a diploma too.
